Dr.G.M. Natarajan is a well known authority in Physiology, Biochemistry and Environmental Biology of air-breathing fishes of India since 1970. He has published over 200 research papers in International journal and guided 30 M.Phil and 12 Ph.D Students. Dr.G.M.Natarajan has written and revised many books. He has received many national and International awards and served in the editorial boards of reputed journals.
Editorial Policy
The principal criteria for publication are originality, high scientific quality and interest to a multidisciplinary audience. Papers not sufficiently substantiated by experimental detail will not be published. The authors are fully responsible for the language of their articles. Papers not meeting the standards of sound English grammar might not be published. All papers are refereed. Acceptance of papers is the responsibility of the Editor in consultation with the Reviewers and the Associate Editors. Manuscripts submitted will be subjected to peer-review by two reviewers familiar with the relevant field of research, being from a different country or at least from a different institution from the author(s). Only papers of high scientific quality will be accepted for publication. After review process, the Editor will inform the authors of the acceptance, rejection or necessity of revision of the manuscript. Any technical queries will be referred back to the author, although the Editors reserve the right to make alterations in the text without altering the technical content. If accepted, the manuscript shall not be published elsewhere in the same form, in either the same or another language, without the consent of the Editors. Author(s) must state in a covering letter when submitting papers for publication the novelty embodied in their work or in the approach taken in their research.
IJABMR insists on ethical practices in both human and animal experimentation. Evidence for approval by a Local Ethics Committee (for both human as well as animal studies) must be supplied by the authors on demand. Animal experimental procedures should be as humane as possible and the details of anesthetics and analgesics used should be clearly stated. The ethical standards of experiments must be in accordance with the guidelines provided by the CPCSEA (animal) and ICMR (human). The journal will not consider any paper which is ethically unacceptable. A statement on ethics committee permission and ethical practices must be included in all research articles under the ‘Materials and Methods’ section.
Author(s) must be careful when they reproduce text, tables or illustrations from other sources. Plagiarism will be viewed seriously. All accepted papers are subject to editorial changes.
