Types of Manuscripts

Research Article

These articles should be clearly describing new and carefully confirmed results and experimental procedure which should be given in required details for others to verify the work. The article can be up to 3500 words including abstract and references. The authors have to check the manuscript extensively for grammatical and spelling mistakes before submission. The manuscript should be prepared in English using “MS-word” with 1cm margin on all side (Top, Bottom, Left and Right) of the page. “Times New Roman” font should be used. The font size should be 12 pt, but Title should be 14pt. All animals, plants and microorganism’s scientific names should be written in italic. All research articles should be typed in double-line spacing with the following subheadings: Title Page, Abstract, Key Words, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgement (if any) and References/Bibliography.

Review Articles

Submission of reviews and perspective covering topics of current interest are welcome and encouraged. Mini-reviews should be concise and no longer than 3 – 4 printed pages (about 8 – 12 manuscript pages) and full-length reviews should be concise and no longer than 6 – 8 printed pages (about 12 – 16 manuscript pages). A review should be topical, sufficiently critical and comprehensive with regards to citations to the literature. It should draw attention to outstanding problems and take care to accommodate different points of view. The format requirements for original research articles apply to reviews too.

Short Communication

A short communication is suitable for recording the results of complete small investigations or giving details of new model or hypothesis, innovative methods, techniques or apparatus. The style of main sections need not conform to that of full length of papers. However, mentioning subtitles like Introduction, Methodology, etc. should be avoided. Short communications are 3 to 4 print pages (about 6 to 10 manuscript pages) in length.
