Abstract :

In the present study an investigation on the ABL (Activity Based Learning) on the learning abilities of students in mathematics was tested. The sample consisted of 1042 students from  4^th and 5^th standard. A survey method was adopted. The results clearly indicate that the ABL (Activity Based Learning) method is suited to the students in understanding mathematical concepts at the school level.
